Share PTCL EVO without any Router or Switch

PTCL EVO the new sensation in 3G wireless broadband internet has becoming more and more popular with time but the main problem with this connection is that it can only be used with computer only at a time. But today i will reveal the secret to share PTCL EVO 3G with out any 3G Router or switch etc. All you need is a LAN Card and PTCL EVO 3G and configure some settings in order to share the internet.

1. Plug your EVO and see its connection status (network adapter)
2. Plug LAN cable to rest of network or single PC
3. Use this in server PC
IP Address:192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0
Default Gateway:No gateway

This way you computer acts as DHCP! and other PCs are given the settings auto!
4. Double click your PTCL EVO adapter connection! go to advanced check Allow other users on network to and reconnect…that’s all!
5. Keep other computer’s LAN properties on auto config

If you want to use wizard do this:

Start> Accessories > Network setup wizard

Next
Ignore DC hardware (if any) optional step
Check “This computer connects directly to net . other computers connect through it

Select your net connection “in your case the EVO adapter” then select each connection that connects other network computer (click your LAN adapter here) And I guess Next Next Next Finish and u r ready to go!
